The FLUXone Hydro system enables the decentralized, economical and CO₂-neutral production of green hydrogen. An innovative multi-stage process converts organic residues into high-purity hydrogen (quality 3.0 - 5.0) without complex pre-treatment.

Sustainable hydrogen - briefly explained

FLUXone Hydro is based on a process that replicates the natural carbon formation process - but within a few hours instead of over millions of years.

Carbonization

Organic residues are converted into hydrochar and process steam - without complex pre-treatment or drying.

Gasification & hydrogen production

The hydrochar is mixed and gasified with steam, producing a hydrogen-rich synthesis gas. A downstream gas purification process extracts high-purity hydrogen.

The plant can be operated flexibly with various organic wastes, including municipal sewage sludge, agricultural by-products (digestate, slurry and manure) and industrial/municipal residues, food waste and tree and green cuttings.

The FLUXone Hydro can be flexibly integrated into existing structures - whether in municipal, agricultural or industrial contexts.

The system diagram shows an example of how the hydrogen is produced and by-products such as residual heat can be efficiently reused - for example for heat supply, mobility or in reconversion processes.
